Inspired by My Mocha
This is an ode to my love- that's coffee
With its sweet aromas and warm tastes
Sometimes I take mine with a little toffee
But never would I make coffee in haste.
Inspired by my mocha is this poem,
As I sit here on this frigid morning.
Super Joe coffee, it's my second home
'cause it helps my life not be so boring.
The best coffee in North America,
And Chris and Wendy are always friendly.
Trust me friends, it's truth, not hysteria
It's better then Starbucks undoubtedly.
So next time you're in by Superior,
Drink some coffee that's not inferior.

The death of a dirtball
Crashing to the ground, the little dirtball screamed
Leaking tears of itself, the speed is so fast
The ground closes in, the little ball braces
But with the impact it rips
Rips off layer by layer
Screaming through the pain
And the dirt ball's life was gone
But a shine shone through the dust
A yellow glow, a warm light
The death of the dirt, the birth of the gold
Clear away what is new, and see what was old
The glow shines through the water,
Filling the cave with the beauty which was once
A dirt ball

Hi Deviant Art! I'm back, after cleaning out all of my emotastic High School poetry. Now I can write depressing adult poetry! Hooray! But hopefully it will be better than that, and actually be intellectual or something. Hooray!
